LOS ANGELES - Grammy-winning singer Faith Evans was charged Friday with two counts of misdemeanor DUI, the Los Angeles City Attorney's office said.
She's due to be arraigned Sept. 16.

The widow of New York rapper Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace was stopped Aug. 21 at a sobriety checkpoint just north of Marina Del Rey and seemed intoxicated, police said.

"It was during a regular checkpoint, nothing other than that. No collision," Sgt. Ron Pickering of the LAPD Pacific Division told the Daily News.

Evans, 37, faces up to six months in jail if convicted.
